Wet weekend and a movie

Well I'm here to blog....blog, that's such an unattractive word. Maybe that's why its taken me so long to "blog". Honey, pull the car over, I've gotta blog...bad. I also can't help but notice that it seems to be a feminine sport. What does blog stand for anyway? On second thought I'm not sure I care all that much.
Here's the memo: Max turned eight last week. Saturday was his baptism. So we added a little splash to the annual Max/Jim birthday dinner and a movie celebration. I asked Max on the way to the church if he was excited, his reply "I'm excited we're going to a movie today" After the day was over I asked the same question. This time he said the most exciting part of the day was his baptism. It was a nice weekend thanks to family and friends. The Allred's (Sue and Val) were there and so were grandma and grandpa. Sharon made a showing and of course the locals, the Towers, Taylor's, Martins and Whites were there to lend their love and support. It was a great day. The pizza at Johns incredible pizzeria was loud, but edible. The movie was silly but entertaining...who knew Chijuajuas could talk. The night was topped off by some take out from Chengs..oh it's good. Sunday the Allred's headed home and we headed to church were everyone of the Heath children got up and shared their testimonies for the first time. So proud.
Madelynn went first and with her brother at her side expressed how proud of him she was, all the while brushing the lint and such from the shoulders of his suit coat. So motherly. We certainly appreciate all those that lent their love and support to Max this weekend, it didn't go unnoticed. And that's the memo. Stand by for more!
